Kami Rita Sherpa, famous expedition leader and Sherpa guide breaks his own previous Guinness Book of World Record ascending the famous Mt. Everest (8848.86 m) to for the 25th time.
Kami Rita Sherpa holds a Guinness World record for being the person who has climbed Mount Everest the most. His great achievements or records are “Most ascents of Mount Everest” and “Most total summits of 8,000-meter peaks by an individual.” This is the reason why he has earned the nickname Everest Man.
Kami Rita Sherpa first summited Mount Everest in 1994,. He has also climbed the world's highest and challenging mountains, including Mt. K2, Mt. Cho-Oyu, Mt Manaslu and Mt. Lhotse.
Kami Rita reached to the summit of Mt. Everest at about 6:00 PM on Saturday along with 11 other Sherpas being the expedition team to to reach the Mt. Everest summit this year amid the deadly coronavirus pandemic.
