For climbers and mountaineers willing to ascent from Nepal side, they take Southeast Ridge route as this route was crafted by Tenzing Norgay Sherpa and Sir Edmund Hilary in 1953 AD.

Which route on Everest is easiest?

Climbing high mountains is not an easy task, Everest being the highest mountain in the world, summiting to its top is one of the glorious and most adventurous activity. Both the Northeast Ridge Route and South Col Route to the Everest are both extremely difficuilt depending upon their uniqueness and attractions. However Everest climbing expedition via the South Col route is believed to be technically easier to climb the Everest than Everest Expedition via the Northeast Ridge Route. The Everest expedition via North east Ridge Route is technically challenging to climb because the mountaineers and climbers have to spend more time at high altitude, and the the weather and distance travelled to reach the summit is also more then via the South Col Route to the Everest.
