Shey Phoksundo is one of Nepal's deepest lakes. Situated at an elevation of 3,611 meters above sea level in the midst of the mountains, this lake boasts a distinctive Y-shape. It spans 4.8 kilometers in length and 1.6 kilometers in width. The deepest point of this lake, in Nepal's remote Dolpa district, reaches a depth of 650 meters. It is said that this lake changes its color with the seasons, nestled in the lap of the Himalayas.
