Trip Overview
The Shishapangma Expedition is the only completely 8000er stretch out on Tibetan soil. Up to lower, 5000 m the base camp lain highly can be driven as at the Cho Oyu with jeeps - afterward, however, the distances from camp to camp are substantial since the route moves first over the little steep area.

Cost for Shishapangma Expedition
Mt. Shishapangma Expedition costs from USD 25,500 for Full Expedition Service
Full Expedition Service: USD $25,500. This includes all transfers, Kathmandu accommodation, fees & permits, internal flights, trek service to Base Camp (BC), accommodation and meals at BC, Sherpa guide on the mountain, tented accommodation & food on the mountain, supplementary oxygen.
As per Chinese government rule, 1 Climber = 1 Sherpa (compulsory)
- Our above cost are based on 1:1 ratio [1 Climber 1 Climbing Sherpa]
- Meals: In hotels, breakfast is provided. On the expedition, all food and non-alcoholic beverages are provided.
- Internal Flights: Our policy is to match your needs rather than to state a particular flight or class of travel for each departure. We can provide very competitive prices for airfares to connect with our itineraries.
- Insurance: Medical and Personal Insurance have not included although it is compulsory.

Shishapangma Expedition Climbing Routes
Mt. Shishapgnamga can be climbed via different routes, North-west Ridge, North-east Ridge, and South-Southwest route. One interesting fact about Shishapangma expedition is there are two summits of Mt. Shishapgnama!. The main summit (8,027 m) can be climbed via South, southwest ridge, and the northeast climbing route. North-west climbing route is a commercial route and is most followed climbing route for Shishapangma climbing expedition.
